Exciting Update: Day 3 Progress Report!

We are thrilled to share an update as we near the end of our third day online. First and foremost, a huge thank you to everyone who has joined us on this journey! It's been incredible to watch a simple idea evolve into something meaningful, thanks to your participation and feedback. We are excited to see how the platform evolves with continued input!

In order to post anything on the marketplace, you will have to submit a quick form and wait a little while for it to be reviewed, thanks 👍

Please be aware, this is not fully completely and is just out there to gauge interest, if it is used, we will continue improving it!

We Have Exciting News!

The site is going to have a number of updates made to it over winter break, and there is more good news!
your input on these updates, will determine a major part of the future of this website.

We would like to start off by discussing some of the plans that we are going to enact, going forward:

Adding more depth to posting!
Firstly, we are going to add a number of privacy features for ensuring that posts can only be seen by logged in users, or members of the community...

We are also going to be finally adding, Private Communities, and improving the current look of the Communities page, as it is not ideal!

We are looking into creating an MtA Archives, where students would be able to upload notes for classes, this would make life easier for students for students. There will be more details coming about this in the future, we are really looking forward to the potential this might have.

We would also, greatly appreciate any mention of this site on any other sites or even through word of mouth!

On behalf of the entire team, we are pleased to announce a series of exciting new updates!

We have recently introduced the ability for users to block and unblock members within the MTA social platform. This feature was developed with significant contributions from @u77 and valuable support from @u55.
Additionally, we have enhanced the security of images shared in messages, ensuring that they can only be viewed by the intended recipients.
Other improvements include the addition of datestamps on comments, the resolution of several notification bugs, the introduction of private communities, and the inclusion of icons in the navigation bar. In the near future, we will also be implementing a feature to indicate when a message has been read.
We are also thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an orientation event for new students joining during the Winter semester.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to bringing you more exciting updates in the future!

We would also like to announce that we have finally got the only friends can see setting working, if enabled, only your friends will be able to see your posts in the home page!

We have recently added a mta.sharepanel.host/landing... ! It allows you, students, to share your notes for classes. Take sneak peeks at courses you'll have to take later, or assignments coming up later in the semester.
